Welcome to Kathleen Kinder's Graphics Lessons.
Kathleen Kinder
For those of you who just happened to stumble on these pages, let me tell you just a little bit about what we are doing. There are thousands of machine knitters who are on the Internet. We chit chat back and forth every day, giving each other encouragement and hints and tips and whatever else we need from time to time and occasionally, someone comes up with an absolutely brilliant idea. One day in November, Kathleen Kinder, from the U.K., decided that she had explored enough of Paint Shop Pro so that maybe she could teach the a few people, if there was anything they might want to learn. She mentioned it to the machine knitters on the Internet and the next thing she knew, she was bombarded with Me To's from all of us. We all wanted to learn everything she could teach us. She has generously offered to go ahead and try teaching an on-line-internet course for all of us.
I'm thrilled that Kathleen has offered these lessons to us. It could easily turn into a messy situation though if someone comes on in the the middle and wants all the old lessons, or someone goes on a holiday and misses a few so I offered to save everything here. This will save Kathleen having to go back and find and send lessons to anyone Never fear, Roz is going to be saving them. If you have any questions or comments for Kathleen, at any time during the lessons, please email her at k.kinder@daelnet.co.uk.
The following exerpt of a note posted by Anne Campbell, anne.campbell@pixie.co.za in my opinion, says it for all of us and I think you can easily change the word "South African" to American, Canadian, Australian..etc and just include all of us in this note.
...I feel so humbled by your generosity, Kathleen, your keeness to share your wonderful knowledge and infectious enthusiasm reaches across the ' ether waves' to all corners of the globe and you have no idea how excited you have made one South African feel !! Anne Campbell

Since these
lessons were developed, PSP has a new plug-in that allows users
to browse the .pat files from DesignaKnit. This plug-in works
with PSP 5 and the soon-to-be-released PSP 6. The plug-in is
available from Diane
Bennett. This newest capability makes Paint Shop Pro an even
better tool for the Machine Knitter.
