Joyce told me she found this pattern in some papers from 1982, so it’s another one of those oldies but goodies whose origin is hard to trace. We appreciate her sharing!

Joyce uses green for the wreath and red for the bow. She also attaches red holly berries on the wreath and attaches a safety pin to the back.

Weaving Brush cast on 40 stitches.

Hang hem

Sew off with double eye needle. Pull up and tie tightly with both cast-on and cast-off tails.

For bow: e-wrap 4 needles. Tension 1, knit approximately 125 rows.

Holly berries: Use French Knots.
