Small amounts of Mary Lue's Symphony, Bright Yellow and Hunter

One Brown Chenille Pipe Cleaner

Glue

Rosebud

Tension on stitch dial: 3.5 or 4

Mast Tension: 3

Col. With Bright Yellow, cast on 50 stitches over 2 rows:

Bring EON to B position and knit one row.

Hang on cast on comb.

Bring alternate needles to B and know one complete row.

Knit to RC 019

Knit one row at tension 7.5 or 8

Using the latch tool, bind off right to left by drawing first stitch through the second.

Make sure bound off edge is curled out.

Pull cast-on yarn tail to gather up the rosebud.

Tack edge of rosebud down at the base. Weave in end.

Leaf

Tension on stitch dial: 3

Mast Tension: 3

COL. Pull 5 needles to B.

Hang scrap fabric made form waste yarn onto needles.

With Hunter, e-wrap 5 stitches.

Knit one row.

E-wrap increase on stitch on left.

Knit one row.

Hang one claw weight.

Full fashion increase (with 1 prong tool) 1 stitch on carriage side on next 4 rows.

When you have 10 stitches, rehang the claw weight.

Knit 8 rows.

Full-fashion decrease (with 2-prong tool) 1 stitch on carriage side until you have 1 stitch left.

Draw yarn through last stitch and remove from machine.

Weave ends in.

Steam flat.

Fold a brown chenille pipe cleaner in half., Gently work ends down into the rosebud working through the knitting to the outside. Twist tightly. Trim stem to 3 inches.

If you want to use your rosebud in a floral arrangement, don’t trim the stem.

Using a glue gun, glue leaf onto the base of the rosebud and on one spot at the top.
