To Make Up:
Sew up seams: Turn Back welt on Bootees.
Variations: Try Using White on the Bootee Welts, and a
contrasting colour on the rest, this will then look like little
shoes and socks!
Create a mocassin look on Bootees by loops, when you start the
Garter Stitch Section, on the first row, every stitch, wind the
yarn
around your finger three times, then knit this off with the
stitch, and knit the second row.
To give a flat seam Cast off by knitting two stitches together,
then put the remaining stitch you have left from knitting the two
together, back onto the first needle and knitting that off with
the next by knitting two together again, all along the row, until
1 stitch remains, fasten off. This gives a neat row, if not done
too tightly.
